I can't believe I'm about to say this but

I think I may have to pull for the chickens on Saturday. Our fellow rivals need something to lift them up! Some good will come out of it for us as well. LSU will have a bad loss on their hands which will keep them from possibly jumping us down the road if they win out. Also, it will give Spurrier fire to stick around. I don't want him to retire TOO early. And it's not like it we're not going to wipe them off the map later in the season anyway.

There are 2 principles I hold in college football
Oct 7, 2015, 12:09 PM
|
|
1) Pull for Clemson to win every game, no matter what and 2) Pull for USC to lose every game, no matter what
Now I can see that #2 might be flexible in the case of us needing them to win for our SOS or some such, but that's not now, and I'd have a hard time doing so even then.

If ISIS had a football team, and they were playing against the coots.......
let's just say I'd be in the yard, firing the AK47 in the air, screaming ALLAH SNACKBAR! at the top of my lungs.....

I think it might have been a somewhat close game at home

I think in Columbia LSU would've won a close-ish (7-10 points) game where the controlled the game on the ground. Their passing game is bad and if somehow the gamecocks can slow down the rushing attack (at least from the scoring perspective) then they could've made a game of it.
Now, at LSU, I see it as a much more likely blow out.

THEY WON"T HEAR YOU THRU THE TV!!! Never pull for them, unless you're at one of their games (but then, WHY?!?!?) and you fear for your life! I ask again, WHY WOULD YOU GO TO THEIR GAME?

I don't have a problem with that thinking, because

in this situation...
1. Would slightly help out SOS
2. As long as Espin keeps hyping SEC west, I pull against the SEC west. 3. Another needle in the SEC west hype balloon, because everyone knows Usuc sucks.
4. LSU will lose a couple games anyway.
5. If a win against LSU helps keep this Usuc staff around, that's a good thing.

My heart goes out to them who have dealt with the flooding....My brother and sister and some friends live there.....however, that has zero to do with football and I hope LSU hangs 60 on them. I hope they lose their scrimmage games as my late Pop used to say.

I'm not worried about lsu not losing. They will definitely beat the #####, but they will lose two games this year. Once they play a team that can stop the run their offense will stall.

Can't and won't do it. After being verbally assaulted here in Cola over the last 6 years, the gamecocks can suck an egg as far as I am concerned. Just remember there are just as many Clemson fans affected by the floods as gamecocks. I didn't see them feeling sorry for us last week or so far this week. Just my 2 cents.
FYI...I live less than 3 miles from a lot of the destruction you see on TV. I have seen it firsthand. We are lucky because our house is on higher ground. I want every person affected by this flood to recover 100%. I also want the gamecocks to lose this weekend and every weekend.
