Dabo is licking his lips as the underdog. I predict we show up and play one of our best games of the season. Hopefully it will be enough to win.

Many are going on what we've seen from the lack of 'foot on the gas', playing an injured RB because he feels good and failed second half defense strategy. Don't be judging folks for looking at trends vs wishful thinking.

At which point we generally compete at the highest level.
The trend is that Ewers is a complete statue with an ankle injury. The trend is that Texas has played absolutely pitiful passing offenses.
I am absolutely taking into consideration the trends of this game. Cade will need to air it out 40+ times and play extremely clean but he has proven capable.

Cade will vs the 'should have kept the foot on the gas' commentary. Also, we will need some kind of running game as you can't be pass only. Where is that coming from?
Don't get me wrong.... hope you are spot on. I'm not one for gut feel 'we gonna stomp Texas because I feel it'.

When you say 7-10 you make it sound like we went

When in reality we all know it’s
2015-2020. 6 straight (4 team) playoffs

Last time we were in the playoffs we had TL16 and a nasty D. This team is a near shell of or 2018-2020 teams. No trend from 2015-2020 should be used to make predictions about this team.
Use 2021-2024. That’s who we are now. Not 2015-2020.
Some of yall need to stop living in the past. If we win it’ll be because we played the best we’ve played all year and Texas didn’t play so well.

I could see this happening. I don’t think we get blow out but I can see a 14-17 point loss with Texas pulling away in the second half.
I will be watching and hoping though!

If you look at SMU's body of work, not extremely impressive. They went into the game kind of cocky and we smacked them in the mouth. They went on an impressive 2nd half comeback.
Texas's body of work is better. We have to play TWO halves of perfect football. I'm not sure that we have done that all season. It's going to be tough.

I'm not buying it. Has Texas got highly rated players, yes. But I haven't been impressed and they've played a weak schedule. I can see us winning 35-24.

Watching the slippage in the program and results since the 2019 Natty will do that too you. Elite opponents (LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee) post season losses and UGA this year in the opener. It's understandable why people would predict another blowout loss.

I've watched most of our games twice and have watched Texas against stiffer competition. Objectively, Texas is a more talented team, especially along the line of scrimmage. Their secondary has only allowed 4 passing TDs all season and their front 7 is really good. The only way we stay in this is if we get several key turnovers and play near perfect on offense. If not, it could get away pretty fast. Ewers, however, has turned the ball over and they have sputtered on offense against a few teams. We can win, but Texas is going to have to help.

It's not surprising after some of the issues we have had. I think we lose 34-24, but it's just a guess. I wouldn't be surprised if we beat them 34-24 either. There is no telling with this game.

We need to be able to run the football and nothing I've seen in the last couple of months suggests we can do that against an elite defense.
I don't know if we will get "blown out" but I could definitely see us losing like A&M did where the final was only 17-7 but the game was never remotely in doubt if you actually watched it. The Aggies scored 0 offensive pts in that one.

If we had a healthy Mafah I think we give them all they can handle. However, with us being so beat up at RB, it may get out of hand. We have to be able to run the ball. Look at UGA.
