and among the best at their position.
I’m sure we would have liked to have more of that caliber of player, wouldn’t we?

#2 from Dillon. Not sure why anyone thinks we have a shot at any player down there. It is and has always been a straight coot pipeline.

Another rationalization, the pertinent empirical data available to the initiated is: USuc offered Pringle & Thompson 15 months before we did(Georgia offered around the same time frame as USuC), but if you prefer the standard anecdotel data or hearsay then: they were life long gc fans as is every friend, relative, Romans, and countrymen-—

Jayden Lucas?
I’d suggest it was because that those guys grew up Clemson fans because their family, friends, and other influential folks in their lives planted the seed years ago.
It was our year to get the best guys in the state.
This year belonged to SCAR. It happens periodically.

The ##### will be a problem as long as Beamer is in control. He will get the job done in Columbia, sooner than later. So, prepare yourself and continue to SUPPORT the Tigers. I expect the last game this year to be a nationally televised game.

Reality is, we are getting more good players out of Texas now, than SC. It is just a numbers game Clemson has become a National Brand. Bama is a National Brand. UGA is a National Brand. USCjr.........not sa much!

Here is what some of you need to understand about recruiting:
You can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes, well, you might find, you get what you need

Always missing the big picture

Reminds me of the Tommy Bowden supporters who measured Clemson's success on whether we beat South Carolina.
Winning the state in recruiting might make some fans feel good, but it barely moves the needle. They've been "out recruiting" us for in-state players that we either didn't offer, or weren't a priority the entire time Dabo's been HC.
The same people hyperventilating about in-state recruiting are the same ones who think beating South Carolina for in-state talent made Clemson nationally relevant.

It just so happens the top 2 players are OL, the position we've recruited heavy the last few years. We've would've taken them sure, and still in the running for Franks, but the priorities this cycle was elsewhere. Sometimes it works out like that.
2023 - Reed and Sewell both high 4*s 2022 - Miller and Sadler both high 4*s 2021 - Leigh, Tate, Linthicum. A 5* and 4*s
