Anyone that says anything against CK2 just needs to quit commenting on football. Guy almost single-handedly kept us in the game. Should have played him on defense too (mostly kidding about that part)

The Tigers left it all on the field.

Unfortunately, too many big plays against our defense. Is a change in DC coming?

Regardless, the Tigers showed heart in their effort to comeback. The future is bright for this young team.

Go Tigers!!

Something must change, ball carriers used to stumble in fear looking at our defenders about to get them now they high-five them as they run past them.

Our defense was poor-as in we got outcoached type of poor. Prime example would be the fact we COULD NOT TACKLE! Our adjustments on defense were no where to be seen. Offense did fairly well minus a few bone head calls at some critical points. We mix plays pretty well and then we'll have a 3rd and 2 and get stuffed siince the play is to run into the center's butt. We were a feared defense. Now we cause confusion for opponents since they must decide to run for 30 yards or pass for 30 yards. If we had a defense and a RB, I think it's fair to say we could've taken them. Hats off to our players, we could not have asked for any more than you gave which was all. Go Tigers!!

Moral victories are what losers claim to make them feel better. Defense gave up 292 yards rushing. It was pathetic. Third and goal from the one yard line and our idiot coach thinks it’s a good idea to line up in the shotgun and start six yard back to run a play? Twice? Idiots

I don’t think anyone is claiming moral victory. Any good after action review covers what went well and what went wrong. Build on what went well and fix what went wrong. It is all you can really do.
Went well: Offense battled, the coaches realized playing an unhealthy player is not wise so Phil sits most of the game, Cade and the receivers battled. O line mostly held up
Went poorly: offensive play calling in critical situations still misses the mark (Riley is learning on the job), our skill players don’t block well, defensive gap integrity and tackling was woeful, defensive coordinator insists on only rushing 3 in 3rd and long situations, the same “what went poorly” has repeated itself all year.

Next year is a tougher schedule and changes need to be made if we are to continue to remain relevant.

Mostly agree w your recap…I really think we have the starters to play our D but not our usual depth so the bigger issue for me is poor tackling/pursuit and gap integrity…”I think points to coaching/DC”…O line fought valiantly despite injuries this year poor development/use of RBs all year left us weakened run game (huge props to 8 today) points to our ability to get more quality dudes (Dabo/coaching…although I think Luke has helped a ton). Still absolutely love / support Dabo. Punting was very weak but Houser has talent… wish we could play total game up to our abilities…Go Tigers!!

And the reason we’re trying to “tackle the ball” (your words) in game FOURTEEN!!!!! IS WHAT?!?!?!

What is that? The same mistake for about 1000 defensive snaps??? We’re paying millions of dollars for a mistake that happens 1000 times?

I think it’s time to pay somebody else. The people we’re paying seem to be deaf and blind.

What does the RedditCFB tweet even mean?

“Much of the debate since the CFP field was announced centered around the relative merits of 1-loss teams and 3-loss teams. Texas-Clemson painted a reasonably strong case against the 3-loss teams.”

What does Clemson’s showing have to do with Indiana, SMU, Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, or anyone else?

One thing that was shown...we battled and proved we were worthy of being on that field. Both IU and SMU can't say that....

Yeah, Clemson looked like they belonged on that field. You put a healthy Mafah out there with the way those guys played and we will
Be able to score with anyone in America. They battled and showed that they belonged but poor execution and coaching on the defensive side ruined it.

it's idiotic, like most things from reddit

This is a great example of why I mostly quit using reddit. It's full of anonymous individuals who are great at making authoritative and convincing statements, but those statements often misconstrue situations, make absurd claims with no evidence, or are completely ignorant on how the subjects they're talking about actually work.
