The State of South Carolina Recruits

In my opinion, this rivalry turned when we started losing out against the top recruits in the state. When we missed out on guys like Lattimore, Clowney, etc, we started to slide.

Why? Not because they are more talented, but because they understand the rivalry. Guys from Florida and Virginia just don't get it as much and have to learn the rivalry instead of growing up in it.

If they were coached the right way it wouldn't take them 5 years to "get it".
