I keep reading that there is division surrounding our basketball program.

One thing I think CBB could do is to adopt “Clemson United” for our basketball program. This would send a strong signal that there is no division, and all fans are welcome. Soccer made this move several years ago, and while I prefer all of our teams use “Clemson Tigers”, I don’t recall much division at all surrounding our soccer program since the change. We know CBB and his staff are willing to take inspiration from other coaches to make positive changes. “GRIT” is an example of something inspired by Dabo that CBB has successfully implemented. I give CBB a ton of credit for that. Finally, we would not need “The Tiger” at basketball games. His absence would save money for the program and prevent confusion amongst fans after the change.

My dad works at the local foundry and said he found a vat contaminated with an unknown metal last Friday. He was going to ask one of the lead scientists about it but there was an explosion at the office and they think he may have been a casualty. Hopefully he is ok and can talk to my dad next week.

I think you're on to something. The dry-cleaning bills for the Tiger mascot suit would no longer be needed either. They could auction the outfit off too. That money could be used for one of those old timey popcorn machines for thé new players lounge to help recruiting.

UNITED is a soccer term coming from when British teams merged or “United” back in the day
Many British teams have United in their names
I’m sure the kids on the team started calling themselves that and it stuck. Kind of like Christian Wilkins sayin Hey let’s be the Power Rangers
Don’t think United would transfer well to basketball
Maybe they could just be the Hoopsters. If this is all you got to worry about I am very happy for you

There is no division on the Tiger Basketball team or program, in general. Don't be silly. And as far as the name "Clemson United"......I hate it. They are Clemson Tigers, or should be, and a name change has zero to do with how you feel or how you play.

He said 98.5% of fans are “amazing”, and just 1.5% are the problem. This thread proves it’s actually 97.3% who are amazing, and 2.7% who are not, or are NPCs. Either way, while wrong, Dabo was really close to getting it right.
