He’s been a Clemson hater for as long as I’ve seen him. Now the last few years he actually gets to be right but him and Finebaum were wrong every year until 2021. Heck if I predict the same thing every year eventually I’ll be right. He doesn’t actually give good assessments.

I know most fans don’t want to hear this but he’s right. We aren’t as good as we were 4 years ago. However:
Georgia is better
App State is better
NC State is better
FSU is better
I don’t believe that we will be 2-3 after 5 games. But 2-3 is more likely than 5-0, IMO.

Chesty this is one of those times where I just can't agree with you, and my reason is that in college sports every team starts the new season with a different line up of players at several positions that can change the makeup of the team that can make it a better or worse than the team the prior season.
Nobody has of yet seen the Clemson team that Dabo will send out on the field to represent our team, and the same could be said for the Georgia team. We can guess about what we think it will look like right after the 1st kick off, but the truth is that nobody knows for certain what our team will play like once that ball has been kicked, nobody!!!

I'm telling you. Most don't agree but Dabo has given us two national titles and many conference titles. In his mind he has done his job and then some on the field. His focus of late is developing these men into great young men. He will not sacrifice his morals and beliefs for a title. I guarantee you he knows a title is not possible with a QB like Klubnik. When and if they recruit another generational QB then another title is on the table. Dabo is happy with 8-10 wins a season. Some of us are not.

I think your argument is somewhat conflated.
"He will not sacrifice his morals and beliefs for a title" IMHO is actually a virtue of Dabo.
I also don't think that logically Dabo resting on his laurels makes sense if his focus "of late" [is developing these men into great young men] for two reasons:
1. He's been doing that the whole time.
2. Dabo knows that success on the field is his vehicle to being able to continually provide a program and foundation that promotes that opportunity. This isn't Happy Valley where we're Clemson will have a statue of Dabo built and let him live out his next 30 years in mediocrity.
As for word usage (not spellung), who is the "they" recruiting another generational QB?

So sad to get so butt hurt because someone makes a completely levelheaded assessment that you think is wrong. If you think he is wrong why not tell him without resorting to insults. It's even sadder that you're probably an older or at least middle aged man getting that butt hurt on an online football forum over something you disagree with.
It's ok for someone to criticize the team they love or make an honest assessment on them. Doesn't mean they are a "coot" or hate their team. We could very well start out 5-0, or just as easily go 3-2. All you have to do is look at last year. For him to be "All In" he has to brainwash himself and ignore all of our problems from the past few years and blindly shout "12-0 and anyone who says otherwise is a coot or nit all in"? Get real.

Last years team didn't play as well as what we have been use to seeing play, but to be honest with yourself you've never seen the 2024 team play a down and knowing that is a fact I have to believe that you're only assuming what our 2024 team will play like when so much has changed from last season to this season from the coaching to the players!!!
