Well Ozempic did go through the normal channels for the normal length of time.

Aside: IF Trump had won in 2020, the MAGA folks would have been ALL IN on the Covid vaccine, and The Dems would have been the ones refusing to take it. That's just how screwed up we've all become.

You can't just reasonable people into morons like that. The two sides are not at all intellectually equivalent.

I stumbled upon The Simpsons and it was about the nation's Ozempic obsession

I haven't watched The Simpsons in years - but it was actually very funny. (Everyone in Springfield was skinny, except Homer.)

Everyone had the freedom to choose. If you made a choice your employer disagreed with, then you could choose to lose your job. If you couldn’t go to your favorite restaurant because you chose not to get vaccinated, that’s also a choice you were free to make. If I choose to operate with my eyes closed, my employer doesn’t have to keep me on staff. You’re upset because you disagreed with policies to mandate vaccines for certain jobs or what have yous, but nobody was pinned down and vaccinated against their will.
Freedom to choose to be vaccinated, freedom of speech, freedom to own firearms, these are all things you are free to do. You may not like it, but freedom from any consequences of those choices is not guaranteed.

Not true at all about having no choice. I’m self employed so when I opted out of the vaccine there were no consequences. But what about the guy who had a family and his livelihood depended on it? Did he really have much of a choice? How about the soldier who wanted to stay in the military but did not want the shot. Did he have much of a choice? Sure they could choose to lose careers and have families pay the price but that’s a pretty difficult “choice”.

In that case it seems like an easy choice doesn’t it? Freedom doesn’t mean zero consequences.

No, I would say that makes it a very difficult decision. You see that. I know you do.

I’m sorry, I’m not doing this, I’d rather go beat my head against my driveway than do vaccines with you again. Respectfully.

Look, we might be throwing innocent people into foreign gulags, but that’s the cost of saving the American people from the invading horde of people who work harder and contribute more than a whole lot of “legacy” Americans do.

Lol yes, I’m very pro-prejudice against antivax, conspiracy peddling covid vaccine truthers. Being an idiot isn’t a protected class, but that’s very woke of you to even think about other people’s feelings, so I do commend you for that.

When it comes to the “antivax conspiracy peddlers” as you put it, you just don’t get it. Having Covid in Dec, 2020 before the vaccine was rolled out and choosing to rely on natural immunity as a result was a reasonable choice. I think you said you’re a doctor. If you can’t admit that you’re just not honest. But again, it’s impossible to reason with some here.
