is simple. We need to let Riley run it.

But in the details, we have to use our strengths. We have to eliminate the lateral nonsense. Too many plays are going east/west.

Run the ball between the tackles and mix in read option to keep the d off balance. Throw slants and throw to the tight end. Make the D defend the middle of the field, and that will open up the stuff on the outside. We don't have the great WRs that are going to just make things happen on the outside like we used to, so we have to play to our strengths.

We don’t have ETN anymore. Hell we don’t even have Chez Mellusi anymore. Compound that with continued offensive line woes and the lateral stuff has to end.

Opposing DC’s will have a simple scheme…just put a spy on Shipley. We don’t have elite downfield receivers is why all the east to west passing game. You can’t develop speed. It has to be recruited and we haven’t done that. And enough of the this is the fastest team I’ve had BS pumping.
