The sky is falling that Clemson is in. SOS must be evaluated. Blah, blah, blah. And if Clemson was to advance I am sure the anxiety would increase. And...if Clemson was somehow able to win it all what would happen to the SOS argument? LOL!

Out of that fourth SEC spot that Sankey was promised. Not fair.

Pretty soon, they will just need to set the rules so they can have an SEC National Championship. Only SEC teams allowed and come up with their own trophy!
I’m getting the feeling that the rest of college football is getting fed up with them as well!

It's not just about Clemson. You guys and your conspiracy theories over espn is ridiculous. Listening to what Saban said is absolutely correct.
It's more about the teams that have byes. It should be the top 12 ranked teams. There's a lot of validity to what they're saying. If you get in with a weak schedule, then why would you ever schedule top matchups in the regular season. Roll the dice and play your conference games and cupcakes for the ooc games.

BS winning your conference should get you in the playoffs. 8 win teams have made it into the NFL playoffs due to weak divisions.

then just swaps rankings with each other as they knock each other off, doesn't want anyone to be able to win their way in from outside.

You mean like ole Miss this year. Played 4 ooc cupcakes but still whined when left out because they play in the mighty sec. Sec ESPN media bias is real. Reece Davis Greg McElroy booger all from sec.

CGA,I rarely disagree with you, but the purpose of the CFP is to determine the best team in college football and crown them champion on the field ...... not to determine the 12 best teams in college football. Therefore, even when it was a four team playoff, the only thing the committee had to get right was to make sure they got the two best teams in. In my opinion, if you do not finish first or second in your conference, then you certainly are not one of the two best teams in the country and then no conference should have more than two teams in the playoffs. I still think we do not need any more than eight teams and we are seeing this year that the controversy is never going to end. Let's see how this format works.

But even he would acknowledge that there's no substitute for winning all your games, SOS or not.

Did he argue for FSU to be in instead of Bama last year? No, he would not acknowledge that.

Well, if we manage to beat Texas (Which I think is doable) we will have one of the easiest paths on into the championship game

Clemson didn't make standards which qualifies a team for the Playoff.

That was a collective bargain between the AD's and Board of Directors and other authorities to which we are subservient.
Those who are whining about Clemson being in while other 'more deserving,' teams are excluded should take that up with their AD's and BOD's. They could suggest that the winners of CCGs not be automatic bids
If they want to continue with this agreement then the bubble teams should have won more games and and loss fewer.
It sucks to suck.
