They think they’re a true college powerhouse now. One told me that the OC job at Jr is a “destination job” and “better than most P5 head coach jobs”, and there isn’t a #### thing I can do except sit there and take it for another 360 days….

The "Gamecocks will challenge for the SEC East next year" drums are already beating. It won't be just fans. We'll have to listen to a handful of pundits preach the same thing. We'll hear that until the September 16th beating they catch in Athens.

Typical UofSC fan story - Last Friday was a bad day and we didn't get to do any of our weekly shopping and Saturday was a noon game so no shopping. We went Sunday afternoon to get a few things and stopped by the Wal-Mart in Seneca and what I saw there was so typical of UofSC fans.
I actually saw a man buy a UofSC hat and T-Shirt, obviously go out to his car/truck in the parking lot, change shirts to the UofSC T, put on the hat, and come back in to shop wearing his new UofSC garb. When he walked by, I couldn't help my self when I said they're coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches.
