I truly appreciate the good articles and updates that Tiger Net provides to Clemson fans and alumni. However, I wish that there were fewer articles on possible high school commits to the football program. Once they are committed, ok - but I really don't care to read much about the whims and opinions of of teenagers (in this cased a high school sophomore) who 'may' attend Clemson in a couple of years down the road. I think that the editorial staff of Tiger Net could expend their energies on other topics - like some of the other sports and the athletes that are already representing the university. When was the last time we saw an article on the women's basketball team, volleyball team, men's soccer team and on and on? Just my opinion.

I suspect if we ever field a decent womens hoops team there will be some articles. So far the less said the better

The City of Clemson ...

On my first trip to Clemson (driving up from Atlanta) during the summer to meet Coach Ibrahim in the late 70's, I was looking for the Athletic Department. I drove past some buildings and a big field on the left and went down a little street looking for Jervey. It didn't look right and I turned around and eventually found the Athletic Department and Coach Ib's secretary.
Here's how the conversation went:
Me: Hi, I'm here to see Coach Ibrahim. Her: Coach Ib is not here. He's at his store downtown. Me: How do I get downtown? Her: You know that street that you turned on first before turning around? Me: Yes, does that take me to downtown? Her: (chuckling) No, that IS downtown!!
This was a different place for me ... I lived in Sao Paulo, Brasil from age 8 to 15, with a population of 20 million people and other big international cities before graduating from High School, so this was not just a change, but a change of 'multiple orders of magnitude'!
However, after 'some' adjustments, I realized just how 'different' and amazing the whole of Clemson is ... University, Students, Residents, attitude and demeanor. It truly is special. I love Clemson now and try to get back there every chance I get!

no matter how much traction it gains, TL doesn't like it...

and I hope people will respect him for that... but not only that, don't you all know that "sunshine" is a coot??? that's all the more reason to not want to call TL that...
and I doubt that TL will ever be the "next" anything that references cootdom...

Uh-oh ... the nickname is going to stick then...
Brasil's 'Pele' was given his name in his neighborhood by kids making fun of him. 'Pele' means nothing in Portuguese and the sound of it irritated him to no end. He hated his nickname and the more he tried to quash them using it, the more it stuck.
Now it is one of the more recognizable nicknames in the World, and he's grown to accept and love it.
I'm not saying Trevor will buy into 'loving' it, but my guess is that he is too laid back and composed to let a nickname bother him very much.... and it probably will disappear when they start calling him the GOAT 2.0. (Which is a mis-nomer in and of itself considering DW is the current GOAT)

making fun of another kid and should treat TL like the adult they want him to be rather than chide him into becoming a backside orifice. Any fan of our Tigers should move on from the sophomoric antics and resist the urge to get a chuckle for themselves... We don't want him to be aloof, but I bet it happens if sunshine keeps getting floated his way...

...with all-knowing certitude, declaring that someone, anyone "knows what they are talking about" as if they, with their singular, already attained aged wisdom have determined it and proclaimed it and therefore it is.
Harrison Bailey, Yes the Clemson football program/staff is way beyond just "knowing what they are talking about". You however are parroting coaches, parents and other influential people around you. You are fortunate to be one of the rare few to have an offer from Clemson in hand. Why not accept it now and show us you really believe it.
Right now, it is your time in life to learn, train, be the best athlete you can be and above all, be humble. You have so much more to learn.
