Schwellenbach pitched an absolute gem and the bullpen completely blew it giving up 6 runs in the 8th, and the inning isn't over yet.

Does it matter? If they have to pitch Sale the second game to win then they won’t have anyone to pitch in SD. What an epic choke job this would be. The idiotic announcers were already talking about the SD series in the 6th like the game was over. Idiots.

Frustrating but not one bit surprised at all...Pitching as far as relievers go has been average to below average since the 2nd half of the season began after the All Star break

I’m about to puke. Even if they win the second game, they go to the west coast to play a hot padres team with no Sale. This 2024 Braves season has been more painful than the rebuild years when they weren’t even trying to win. Now the Mets will play a B squad with a random AAA pitcher and shut the Braves down.
Charlie Morton never should have seen the mound yesterday. Man I’m pissed. And it had to be the little blonde twink Lindor too. You know what he is.

It should have been hard to win the division, not make the playoffs. The other injuries didn’t help but some of these high dollar position players have had a bad season.
