The blueprint for beating SEC teams is gonna be a fast paced

offense, with a mobile QB, and a defense good enough to stop the power running game. The SEC has recruited huge defensive players that will wear down against a faced paced offensive attack. Of course, you still have to defend against their huge offensive lines and power running games. I think Dabo is on the right track, and just needs a few more years to get the defensive players needed to beat these guys on a regular basis. It's coming.

Yep. Watching Oregon the other night, their offense would torch this defense. ND's offense plays right into the strength of Bama's defense.

the key ti beating fast paced teams is ball control

that's why Oregon keeps losing just enough to keep them out of these games - they run into a team that controls the ball and clock.

Try reading your own post, "tater". BTW, if anyone calls logic on you, the coot card comes out, right? Wanna see my CU diploma? It probably wouldn't matter, huh? I was noting that WE (that would be Clemson) stopped the run, have a HUNH offense, a mobile QB, and they beat the hell out of us by passing the ball with midget WR's and a 2nd string QB (not to mention the point guard for the 2nd straight year)! You did not mention a ### thing about pass defense in your post, and we better have that to beat those SEC teams, LSU excepted, of course.

No, LSU has no passing attack. That's my point to OP....best have a pass defense for SEC teams, also.....LSU excepted, of course.
