John Nelson Darby to which many American Evangelicals and Fundamentalists adhere. I'm sure they are cheering this on so that the Temple can be rebuilt and sweet baby Jesus can return and usher in the next dispensation or whatever they call it.
However, Mainline Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodoxy do not acknowledge Mr. Darby's interpretation of Revelation which has no basis in tradition or history but was invented in the 19th Century.
Indeed, quite the opposite. Revelation was written to provide Hope to an oppressed people. For those purposes, the Book of Revelation could be useful to the people of Israel and Palestine.

To what people went through in WWII, or the Civil War, or the Black Plague…. There’s some horrible, hard to understand crap going on right now, but I have it pretty freaking good compared to my ancestors to proclaim that I’m in end times.
