If anything, Choice could easily play.....

wildcat some this year, ..his experience as an option qb could really come in handy , and he probably throws a decent ball if the defense comes up to get him ....so just maybe he doesnt redshirt this year after all , even if he doesnt learn all the nuances of the RB position

Why the rush to play him and burn a redshirt? Just let him sit learn the offense and get use to going to class and playing football. I wish we could redshirt the entire class.

Let him play next year with Brooks, Gallman, Dye, Davidson, and Gallman. Then when Brooks and Davidson are gone in 2016, he can compete for the starting job with a little experience.

Choice is prob the most talented rb on campus. I don't see him redshirting. Think he will compete for the starting job. If he can make his way in the top 3 forget a redshirt want happen.

How did you come to that conclusion? Have you been going to practice? We have lots of depth at RB so it will be hard for him to move up unless he is just vastly better than the other backs. Once they start installing the game plan for UGA only the top 2 or 3 backs will get any work the others will move to scout team and will run UGA's offense.

Good question. At this point, he may be our most talented back and I think he'll catch on quickly to the system because of his QB background. If that's the case, why redshirt your best RB?
If he's ready to go now, I'd rather risk burning his redshirt for production now than risk him not even being around after three years anyway.

No, but I don't hear the coaches saying he is one of the top backs on the team. He will only have a couple of scrimmages before the UGA to shine and then they will only be giving their top three back any snaps in practice. Once the order is set the only way for him to break in after that is if the backs ahead of him aren't getting the job done.

The coaches are not gonna say it but one of the freshman backs will not redshirt.

Really? Why do we need 5 or 6 backs on the active roster?

In the Paw drill I say give him the rock.
Let him run on instincts. The other backs are just average... He may be great. Feed him the rock.

play. If he's better than the guy in front of him, coaches won't hold him back just to save him for later; they will have the best players on the field. If he doesn't play, it's because there is somebody else who gives us a better chance to win.

I would hope he is better than Howard and Brooks. Otherwise he is a wasted scholly.
