calling for a harsher punishment. He should be judged for being a nasty child, but it's not really a morally reprehensible thing he did. He's just repeating a meme that everyone under 25 already knows well. The taboo on profanity is almost extinct.

The taboo nature of profanity in current times and what he decided to scream in public yesterday are two different things. Winston is a high talent, low character idiot who will continue to embarrass himself and all those he is attached to until something gets his attention enough so that he will change. Rivalry, opponent week aside - he is trouble and I wouldn't want him on my team.

With the track record with Jameis and the lack of real consequences for him doing anything Jimbo knows with the NFL scrutiny in the media that he was forced to do this. He (Jimbo) may have privately chewed on him in the past, but he has not missed significant playing time. The AD is obviously pushing Jimbo to even have him miss a half.
Jameis is an arrogant, premadonna that is extremely talented and has the size and skills to do what he has done, win a National Championship. That has trumped any punishment in the past.
Lets hope we can play inspired go up on them big and let what Jameis has done to us inspire our defense to not talk smack but play totally inspired!
Jameis has no business in college!
