Teams we owe this year, in order.

1. UGA. They have won 7 of the last 8. They are at the top, while we have declined. It would be a paradigm shifting shock to the college football world... and a long overdue win in the head to head series that we managed to run even with them from the late 70's to the early 90's. We have had bad luck and not played them in some of our best years... but we absolutely owe them the most. 90 miles away, and they barely think us as anywhere near equals. And if we keep losing to them, we deserve that.
2. FSU. We all feel like they anointed FSU top dog of the ACC a little too quickly. Yeah we dropped off, but they BARELY beat us during their best season and our worst. Is FSU really the new top dog of the ACC? Beating them at their place would right the ship and re-establish the alpha in the conference.
3. NC State. One of the biggest sources of frustration among Clemson fans are these games that we look like absolute garbage, and play WAY below our standard, and some mid-major squeezes out a victory and acts like its the super bowl. And we roll our eyes and know that we handed them something they didn't deserve. We were crap and they beat crap. Woohoo for NC State. They beat us 2 of the last 3 years. They think they are our peers. Their program is wholly beneath our's and we absolutely must prove it on the field.
4. SCAR. I know we beat them last year, but it was embarrassingly close. And they kept us out of the playoffs the year before. And I still remember 5 straight. We must put up another 5 streak to further purge the memory of when we let the barbarians through the gates and run amok for FIVE YEARS.
5. Pitt. The big loss to Pitt in 2021 signaled us officially falling down to the sub-elite level. It knocked us out of the ACC championship game. It's when we all saw that the miracle run had come to a close. Yes we had already lost a close game to the eventual National Champ UGA and lost a close double overtime collapse against NC State.... but getting double digit beat by Pitt was a new low for a post championship Clemson program. And we never shook it off. Killing Pitt would be a statement that we have turned a corner since then.

I'd add Stanford. We have never beaten them, and they deserve an a$$ kicking for having so few fans attend their home games. And close behind is Louisville. Not because they have beaten us in the past (they haven't), but for actually being so close to and NORTH of southernmost Ohio. That fact alone means they deserve another a$$ whooping.

We beat Stanford in the 1986 Gator Bowl, 27-21
(but yes, I would like to beat them again as well)

1. NCSU - I hate losing to them.
2. FSU - All we needed was a kicker. Would an earpiece have helped Cade realize that he was about to be plastered?
3. UGA - We really need a win against them to stay relevant.
4. Pitt - Payback for DJ's shovel pass gone wrong.
5. Coots- It's always good to beat them anyway. DJ kept us out of the playoffs with that horrible performance in the Valley.

programs, I will consider this season a success, even with the horrible losses.
I assume we lose one or both of these games, but I will be more optimism if we win.... no matter how ugly. Just please win somehow.

I don’t see us beating USC this year. Our team is soft. …watching Louisville play tougher, more “violent” than us, and we couldn’t or wouldn’t respond. I’m not saying we need to be thugs, but when the other team is more physical than you and you don’t respond in kind and make no attempt to match their intensity, you’re gonna lose.
USC will be violent and motivated. We’ll have to find a meanness in us that I haven’t seen in a few years if we want to win. Better be fired up or it will be a long day…

They have 2 DEs that make their entire Defense look better than it is.
All the Tigers fans shaking in their boots over SCAR are scoreboard watchers.
Their QB is a liability he's like DJ or Cade last year. The teams the beat are also not as good as people think Tamu offense has been up and down all year, Oklahoma had no one left on offense, the 2 close losses were over a clearly under prepared not motivated Bama and a vastly overrated LSU.
Use the VT gameplan on Scar and don't beat yourselves on offense, Scar is not UGA like people are touting.
