...still be legendary. Travis has a chance to become the best to ever carry the rock in the long and storied history of the NCAA. I remember the power backs we had back in the 80’s. I used to dream Clemson would have a running back like OJ Simpson (bad choice, I know), or Marcus Allen, or inset any thoroughbred RB name here. Then we were blessed with CJ Spiller. I thought we would never see another beast at RB wear the Orange and Purple again. Enter Travis Etienne. He has Spiller’s heart and speed. With Emory Smith-like power. He now is as dangerous as a receiver and is blocking as well as any RB1 in the country. Travis is so gifted, and he doesn’t act like he knows it. He is such a tremendous young man off the field. In my half a century of life on this rock, Etienne is the best I have ever seen. Dalvin Cook used to hold that honor in my mind. But, if I had to choose it would be ET everytime! What a time to be a Tiger!

I love Travis Etienne as much as the next guy and I am really glad he is coming back. But, the best you've ever seen?
Herschel Walker? Bo Jackson? Ricky Williams? Earl Campbell? I could go on and on, but those guys were incredible.

The RB that Decommitted that allowed Tony to go after ETN, that was the best decommitment ever. We owe what's his name a huge thank you for changing his mind about becoming a Clemson Tiger. Thank you for the blessing what's your name, you have been forgot about!!!

Richardson, a 4-star RB in the 2017 class, decommitted from the Tigers but it didn’t come as much of a surprise. He would go on to commit to Maryland, then decommit from the Terps and enroll at UCF. Following playing a season at UCF, Richardson chose to transfer to Texas A&M.
After sitting out the 2018 season, Richardson will have an opportunity to play his remaining years of eligibility with the Aggies.
