Talent imbalance between WR's & DB's is huge

Not a slam on DB's but talent and depth is overwhelming at WR.
Is it possible some of these WR's who will warm the bench for 2-plus yrs would rather start at CB than play special teams and 3rd string WR? I expect many started on O and D in high school.
Let the open-minded kids practice with the O and D, and give them a fair shot to start at WR in jr and sr years. The bottom of our WR depth may be as talented as our 2-deep CB/S depth. It sure looks that way. Unconventional but rational.

Or maybe don't offer 5'7 cornerbacks. Wish we would have taken Freshman All-American Kareem Orr(6ints)

I really hope you're not talking about Jamy Williams. He's an absolute stud.

At least the DB's will be practicing against the best WR's in the country. It can only make them better.

I think it's just the Sammy/Nuk effect. We have some DBs in the league but not like LSU, ALA, or FSU. Hopefully the guys this year can change that.

Our starting DBs are both four star type players so I am not sure why you are so clueless on a subject yet post like you are knowledgable.
Are you that clueless or simply trying to get a reaction?

Thank you! And apparently he hasn't checked NFL rosters lately as we have quite a few in the pros.

Would love to see Ray Ray McCloud

move to CB. He played CB in high school and I think it would be a more natural fit for him than WR.

Would love to see Ray Ray play where it best helps the team's success.
Guess I'll let the coaches decide.

Disagree. We don't need another short guy in the secondary

We've already got Carter, Dawkins, and Trapp. We don't need another 5'7-5'8 guy back there. Ray Ray is just fine right where he is backing up Scott.
As far as the OP's statement, of course there's a talent imbalance. We only lost one WR from last year's group and he's basically being replace by a guy that's better in Mike Williams. In the secondary we're losing 3 guys to the NFL, one guy transferred out and one of our better guys just blew out his knee.
Do I like all these short legacies taking up scholarships? No, but because of what has happened since last year's season ended, the talent imbalance was largely out of Dabo's control.
