I don't want to say that it's a conspiracy against specifically against us. But ratings wise, with 3 ACC teams already in, they needed to get more SEC teams in there to stretch viewership. It's not far fetched considering how businesses want to make as much profit as possible and will manipulate as much as they can.

You don't know that for a fact. You saw a video and believed it to be a homerun. Because the call didn't go in your favor, you chalked it up to conspiracy and cheating. Just like you probably do for every call that goes against Clemson in every sport.

I did think Florida had a better top of the lineup than we did because of that Calzone fckr. They also had better pitching depth than us apparently as well. But that doesn't change the fact that the umps had WAY too much involvement against us for practically nothing. Heck, the Crighton ejection alone should've showed you that, especially when that big beach for Florida did far worse and stayed in the game.

Not even tinfoil hat stuff my guy. I've watched the same business I work with manipulate things to get more profit. It's just how the world is, money is the center. It's been blatantly thrown in faces time and time again with sports raking in massive amounts of money and what Disney/ESPN has flowing in from ad revenue and shares from these things. They see ratings and don't want a decline in those ratings.
Now is that what I'm calling these umps out for specifically? No. I think they just flat out suck. But what I said is a true business practice that is done often.

So why watch or even care? If you're convinced its all rigged by the powers to be for financial gain, and that rigging works to the detriment of your team, why care? Find something else to occupy your time.

If you were talking about a 12 team playoff in football... maybe. But college baseball? It's grown exponentially in popularity over the last decade but outside of the southeast most sports fans couldn't even tell you one team going to Omaha. College baseball is a tiny blip on the radar of sports compared to fooball, NBA playoffs, etc. If ESPN had an actual conspiracy to get more eyeballs you would have seen a couple west coast teams make it to Omaha to get some people on the west coast watching games.

We got out played by a better team. Our coaches getting ejected should have fired up our pitcher to go get 3 outs. We had the lead and pitching failed us once again. The batting also failed us multiple times with chances to score and couldn't get it done. Umps had zero to do with the out come of this series. We will eventually get there with Bakich. He has really over achieved this year with the talent and injuries we have right now. Go Tigers!

I could believe we got beat by a better team but no way in he$$ you can convince me the umps had NO impact on the game. I believe if we won game two in the 13 we were out of pitching for Monday and they would have knocked out anyway but the umpires in game 2 directly impacted that game and the next game with the ejections.

I don’t think there’s any conspiracy. I think some umpires are just not good, as with any profession, and others are consumed by their power. The smaller the fiefdom, the greater the tyrant. That’s true for some umpires, as well a handful of others in positions of authority.
I think most of them are good at what they do and try to call the game fairly. But some become vindictive when they are challenged. Remember when one of our batters tossed the bat away and began trotting to first base on what he thought was ball 4? (I forget who it was.). The next pitch was clearly out of the strike zone, but the umpire called strike three. He didn’t like being shown up.
That was petty, especially in a game with such high stakes. That told me the situation was too much for him. I think something similar happened with the ejections. Sometimes the officials need to realize how tense and important a situation is and work to deescalate, but sometimes they are too immature and fuel the fire instead. We just had a couple of those immature ones Sunday.

1. Hosed in the tennessee game in 13 innings with our best player ejected for no reason after hitting a double.
2. Georgia Marathon inning game also where they literally have to take away a 2 run homer to win, even with replay
3. Abomination of an umpire game today against Florida despite all this gained lead in the 13th, once again 3 ejected from clemson none from Florida
4. Strange pro SEC headlines of a 9-7 game in the 9th inning of which florida was once trailing by 3 runs, headline calls it a "trounce"
5. when one of the darlings or higher ranked teams in the SEC lose like LSU to UNC, they say they are in a "reloading" year, they must come up with some weird narrative why they lose it can never be because they got beat, also every team has to reload every year.
6. Any embarrassing performances they regulate to page 6 so to say, making it very hard to find, example when nc state dismantled georgia 18-1 and virginia easily disposed of miss state.

Why even try to get home field advantage? Probably easier to get to Omaha on the road.
Other sports, too. FSU game in football last year two HUGE missed holding calls on XT. The D-Wayne Hate game against Pitt in 2016.
Dook Basketball can murder people in their gym and it gets a blind eye. Any thing that benefits Clemson they have to review thoroughly to find a correction or just throw out our coaches cuz they feel like it. IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Clemson was ranked higher 80% of the season than the .500 team that came in and swept them. Probably the biggest upset of the Supers. Pitching was a concern the whole season and ultimately was the reason UF upset Clemson

Legitimate or not, and this game seems legitimate, Clemson and Tnet seem to blame most every baseball loss on the umps. Almost like Ohio State Football fans.

Overall it seems that college officials aren't that great, and sometimes get full of themselves and overly technical about some rules.
I did see that on Sat the bottom of the strike zone was very inconsistent. And yesterday the width seemed to go wide and narrow. I would welcome automated ball/strike calls, that has to be very difficult to do.
