Can reclassify and come in early and be ready to compete in 2026. Just asking since I haven’t seen any mention of his name or recruitment lately. I was actually higher on Tait than Herbert.

You don't just need a QB. You need an elite QB to compete for championships. All of the top 15 teams have great QBs. If you don't have that, you'll be a mediocre team. As it is, we didn't get any QBs in 2024, won't get any real QBs in 2025, and we have two bad QBs committed for 2026 that will keep others from committing.

No need for that. Best case scenario would be that he stays in high school and continues to develop.
What we need to be hoping for, is for him not to get huge offers in MLB and go the Bubba Chandler route. He has good bat speed and elite baserunning speed. If he gets those offers, good for him, just hoping that he maintains higher value in playing for Clemson.

Almost zero chance. He is still developing as a QB and outfielder and needs that extra year in HS. I live near the HS and get to see him play and I have a friend who knows the family pretty well and he doesn’t believe they would want to push it.
