Whole panel, Desmond, McAfee, Saban picked FSU and the wrestler guy Shamus picked the "dog" tek. Shows what all the experts really know about the future, which is about nothing. Saban: doesn't belong on that show. Great coach we all know it, but not an entertainer, not a fit in that format.

There were a couple of times Saban said just a few words that totally invalidated whatever McAfee had been rambling on about. Kind of like Statler & Waldorf on the Muppets. This could actually get fun.

Before yesterday‘s game, I thought it would be be a tossup with one score margin of victory either way.
Look at the two deep Florida State put on the field versus Georgia last year when they got absolutely steamrolled. 🙁

He brings credibility to the show again and one certainly can't argue with his resume. And I noted it when he said GaTech was better than people think going into the game.
I also noted it when Herbstreit and he both said the ACC has a lot more depth than people give it credit for having.
That chuckle head Dez is annoying.
McAfee is ... McAfee ... small doses.
Reece whats his name is just a moderator.
Herbstreit needed a straight man to help him keep the show from spinning off into the void, and Saban can step right into that role now that Corso is beyond aged out.

99% of the world was picking FSU. Only reason the wrestler picked GT was because of the Irish punter. We all were hoping GT would win, but few thought they actually would, even against an overrated FSU team.
Now we Clemson fans will sit back and see how long it takes for Norvell to bench DJU.

I felt Tech had a very good chance pre-game. McAfee's comment of feeling the same but then watching the two warm up earlier that morning and realizing FSU simply out-athleted Tech so much, seemed like a scenario that could easily pan out. At the end of the day, while FSU likely does have superior athletes and talent, Tech was the superior team - at least on Saturday.

Totally agree about Saban. He looked very uncomfortable and totally a misfit on that panel of immature yucksters. Saban is a serious football intellect. Everyone else there are entertainers and will say whatever they are paid to say.

Now get rid of that annoying Peleton hype girl who adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast, tell McAfee to tone it down a notch, and focus on the football.
With Saban, they're in a good position to do just that.
They'd probably do well to cut the show by an hour -- go live at 10 EST instead of 9. But it's too big a cash cow in that first hour to do that, probably. And Lord knows ESPN needs the money.

I agree with you 100% Saban sticks out like a sore thumb. It's not a good chemistry
mix. I would have hired the Ole Ball Coach Steve Spurrier, he could fit right in with
any crowd/group and his comments would be a blast!!!

With the exception of Saban the others are a joke...Saban has to base it on what he hears..FSWTC was going to primed for their 2nd nattie in a row...except two Jawja crackers stood in their way...now they really want out of the ACC!

I never understood why all the pundits picked FSU to win the ACC and be a top 10 team. It’s like the never saw DJU play. But I figured they must know something I didn’t know. Turns out they didn’t.
