Obamacare, they get insurance through their job, so they are not impacted by this. Why the union ever sided with Dems against the interest of their members is beyond me.

The Dems aren’t shutting down the government for the people that don’t have Obamacare, they are advocating for the people that are on Obamacare.

The ‘now is the time to win at all costs’ crowd isn’t bothered that one of their core constituencies is going without their paychecks.

‘Win at all costs’ is just the way of the Democrat Party leadership. Generous … as long as someone else (even their own constituents) is paying the cost.

Rightfully so, the party in the power - or in your case, RTD, the Cult in power - is to blame for the shutdown. Also, public approval of Trump is very low.

In the letter the AFGE is demanding the Democrats pass a clean CR and let the republicans win.

It’s unfortunate for the labor union to make such a demand, because they’re selling out others for their interest and it’s only going to further minimize support for labor.
