LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR In Kenya . . .
Alice Hewson shot her 3rd Straight 2 Under Round . . . Finishing the Tournament at -4 put her into a 3rd Place Tie and earned her €12,000 (= $12,945.18) of the €300,000 Purse (= $323,629.50).
Alexandra Swayne shot 1 Under today and ended the weekend @ +5 and T-40th Place . . . Earning her €1,710 (= $1,844.69).
On to The Aramco Saudi Ladies International Tournament on Feb 15th - 18th being played at The Riyadh Golf Club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Purse will be $5,000,000. Alice Hewson is in the Field . . . Alexandra Swayne is not. Lydia Ko won last year, but is not in the Field defending . . . which is odd to me.

Looked at the collegiate golf rankings and Clemson was not even in the teams receiving votes.
Has the coaching change been that much of a negative for the program.

be a dip in performance when a HoF Coach “moves on” or retires. Certainly, Coach P’s retirement has had some effect, but I can’t contribute Our Lack of Performance on Coaching. At some point, Players have to take responsibility for their play. I’ve stated several times that Our Starting 5 scores well enough to compete in any Tournament. It is Our “Bad Holes” (double bogies and worse) that keep us from doing so. I cannot blame those holes on Coaching.
I’ve attached Our True Ranking and how it is determined. If you care to go back and look at the scorecards for each tournament, you’ll find we made enough birdies to compete . . . our Inconsistencies kept us from doing so.
We are trending in a better light as Our Players become more consistent. The TALENT is here. No, I do not blame Coach Byrd for Our decline.

Those short putts are a mystery. Too talented to struggle with those so consistently. He had the same issue last season.

Bought my tickets a couple of weeks ago to the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic in May at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. Was surprised that on the same day the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte is being played also.Based on that I hope that the field in Myrtle Beach has a good many really good players because you know that there will be a lot of the top golfers in the world playing in Charlotte.Looking forward to seeing when the field is announced that there will be a lot of past Clemson greats playing at the beach.

Charlotte is also a preferred event this year and the field is probably 1/2 of what it normally is. The top 65 will most definitely be in Charlotte; the money is just too good. PGA has a lot of talent and you will still get to witness some great golf! Enjoy!
I Marshall 16 hole at Wells and kind of looking forward to the reduced field. Thursday and Friday rounds are brutal.

I'm not sure what Kyle majored in, but if I were him I would start brushing up on it. He can't continue to play like he has and expect to make a living on any tour. I hate it, but something has to change in his game.

Needs to change coaches or something kind of drastic. He hits the ball too solid to be in his current situation on the KF tour. At that level it’s normally about putting and maybe he is struggling on the greens.

He has always been kind of a Jekyl and Hyde on the greens. I'm not sure that is his problem now but guessing it probably is. At some point it also probably affects your ball striking. I hope he can get it straightened out.
