Strength, Conditioning, and Diet...

I've said it before, the royalty to batson has set this program back as much as bad inexperienced coaching. Offensive and defensive linemen carry too much bad weight. Offensive line can't move on pulling schemes and we don't block on the second level constantly like the teams we play do. Overall team speed is bad and partly because too much bad weight to carry around. I've been in bodybuilding for 30+ years, I watch a lot of college football and physically we don't look like a lot of other teams I see that are doing well or like we used to in our hay day before the ostrrine scandal. Thank God batson is gone after this year but keeping with the friends and family model and promoting Larry greenlee with be more of the same. Dietician needs to be gone too. We need to go in a completely different direction with this stuff. Don't get me started on the coaching staff either. Ok pumpers flame away!

like i said over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. This is the hidden problem eating away at clemson. just look at the top and average teams today. also clemson players that transfer and play elsewhere look bigger stronger and faster. in addition, clemson players that go to the NFL seem to stay injured. yeah coaching, schemes and player acqusition strategies are big too but strenghth and conditioning

There is a direct correlation between team speed and chunk plays.

We are fat, slow, and lazy. It was apparant when players like DJU blew up during the offseason. PW did it last year and now is struggling to get back to combine form. There is no discipline on this team and there is no risk for upperclassmen to lose their positions under DABO. None.
