If we lose Dabo it will be a bigger detriment then everyone thinks . Not every time is the grass greener on the other side . ITS OKAY TO HAVE A BAD YEAR. These are kids , these are people . Chill. Or go jump ship like most of you did when we won the first natty. DABO leaving will ruin Clemson and I am a betting man.

What is going on with things not being regulated so at least 90 percent of the college football landscape is on a fair playing field. Right now it is not.
It is not about who is just flat out good right now. Good recruits are being bought at rapid rates by programs or teams with a heck of a lot money than what we have. Not only that we seem to have a coaching problem with the others on the staff.
A bad year is one thing....but when things were already seen coming.....a lot of us are wondering why stand there and take the blow when Dabo and this Athletic Department could have side stepped the situation that was happening so we wouldn't be affected that much.
Look around.....the Big Ten and the SEC has set up the current college football landscape....and it is designed to weed out the ACC. Some of these things are out of Dabo's control.....but some of it wasn't. I do not want the man fired....but I don't want him and this program to be wasting years getting bullied and bulldozed by teams week in and week out ....by teams that we should easily beat. Our issues and struggles at this point in time is burying our success that we have to build off of.... because it will take much longer to get back to top 6 or 7 of the elites.... like we were. Why.... because we again... are not on an even playing field when it comes to money.... exposure....and conference representation. That affects recruiting more than you realize. We are not trying to end up like Eastern Kentucky or something.

I am a huge supporter of CDS and would be sad if he left - but I do not think

…his departure would make much of a difference.
Indiana took 19 transfers last year and in 2024 lost 38 players that had to be replaced.
Again, I would love to see the price of the Indiana football player roster, that includes NIL contracts. I suspect that price is somewhere in the range of $35M. That is the kind of money competing at the national championship level will take.
Clemson is at a financial disadvantage to compete at this price. I can’t prove it. I just feel it, and I haven’t seen any proof that this is not true.
I would miss Dabo. I also miss the way the college game was structured 5 years ago. That college game is gone forever, and I have to accept that reality.
I’m drifting further and further away from caring much about Clemson football and college football in general. I suspect that by next season, I will be pretty much done with it.
I guess I need these next few months as catharsis for my closing arguments.

again ….coach and ad have said we have the funds to complete with the best
and lesser revenue schools doing a better job with personnel and player acquisitions
we are not managing talent and a roster well in the current cfb environment

Sorry you feel that way, but Good Bye. There seems to be lots of Clemson fans that just need to move on. True Fans never give up on their School. Go Tigers we will be back. Dabo is not going to let the foundation he built crumble.

Exactly and all those Bandwagon fans are the one’s that are causing most of this noise. Go pick another school to pull for and when they have a bad season please don’t come back to Clemson when Dabo rights the ship.

That's a false narrative.........

IF those bandwagon fans existed that you speak of they were gone 5 years ago and jumped on board with Ohio State or UGA by now.
IF those bandwagon fans exist now they wouldn't CARE at all about coming on a Clemson message board b/c they would've already picked another team and really don't care about anything Clemson anymore
the ones who TRULY care and are TRUE fans are the ones on here that see issues, discuss issues, understand issues and only WANT WHAT'S BEST for Clemson............and haven't left b/c of FIVE down years of football and ones that won't leave if we have FIVE more.

3 things......

1. stop acting like the vast majority of Clemson fans want Dabo fired........they simply want him to change/adapt
2. THIS IS NOT "ONE BAD YEAR"...we've been down for 5 years and been atrocious anytime we step outside of our cushy conference.
3. Stop with the "these are kids" crap...........they are paid professionals now and get what they get from praise to criticism now.
