After 5 months of set backs, ground was finally broken to start building back my cabin. The good LORD willing, I'll be home by Christmas.

Killing time as I am bored these days, have made this giant chair to replace the one I lost. I am eager to get it into my new bird blind. First I have to get back home and build it. I don't miss the house as much as I do my old bird watching seat.

I am keeping the feeders there full.
Lots of birds there waiting on me and the music including the Hermit Thrush. They will eat suet (peanut butter/corn meal).

I bought that a few years back. I can't recommend it.
All those flat ones are hard to fill.
HBs fight at the feeder, many feed points in one feeder adds nothing, more feeders are better.

Exactly! Even with them spread out around my house and acreage. They will go inspect other feeders to make sure no one is getting their nectar. 5 feeders, 3 hummingbirds, nonstop chasing and bickering. Gotta love it!

The Jeep will be 10 this year, turned 24,000 miles on it during that drive. I don't go out much.

Can't afford "cool".
My neighbors are mostly old. Some have moved to rest homes or to smaller places.
Instead of moving I guess I am just replacing the large house with a small one.
