Hope new guy is bringing some DBs too because some our DBs may be on the move.
Reed is highly liked by the secondary guys.
Not saying it’s a bad move. Just pointing out that it could lead to some attrition.

All of the Dbs on this team were highly sought after.
The scheme and lack of pressure hurt the db's this year.

No Coach Reed is not the problem with coaching DB’s… he’s done a great job over the last 10 years… BUT… they need to remove him as special teams coordinator.

Reed did a Poor Job this year! Either he is deficient in Coaching Technique -or- his Players are uncoachable. Could be a combination of both!

I really don't think Reed forgot how to coach. The guy has put a bunch of dudes in the league. I guess you forgot the lone bright spot of the secondary being Ashton Hampton, who was a 3 star DB. With that being said it tells me it's more a personel problem, than a coaching one.

It was scheme, that's a DC issue. Playing 8 yards off the ball every snap is stupid. A huge reason those quick throws were easy completions on 3rd and 3. The grabbing is also bc you're trying to play a guy who's use to playing at the LoS off the ball 8 yards and telling him to cover for 4 seconds at a minimum. Terrell is a physical guy, gotta let him put hands and redirect wrs not catch and wait on them.

Reed's a great coach, but you can't hamstring your new coordinator. If the new DC wants his own people, you have to let him do so.

Had another friend Reed taking pay cut but I know others are true bc him saying that now makes 3 I’ve talked with saying the same. Reed I’m hearing two say gone and one say pay cut. But it does make since he would be gone bc he wants dc role.

Outside of Goodwin, Conn would be the only other one gone. Rumored NEW DC is a DB coach and a REAL LB coach would be needed.

Why should I leave? I told many when monte lee was fired days before announced. Same friend. This friend of mine is close with someone you see on tv every clemson game on Saturdays. Also is close with a wccp talk show host everyday

I would think it’s likely Reed wanted DC, but rightly Dabo going outside. Need big move here for DC. Reed has been good. Hope he stays. Tho need new special teams coach. Too important to be the afterthought it seems to have been.
