but Spurrier is correct in saying that its very common for coach's to have drinks after the games. he probably should have used better judgement as to when he had them.

i worked in the athletic dept under Tommy West and I can remember the coaches and their wives had a tent setup in the far corner of the practice fields and after each game the coach's would let go of some stress.

in fact, ole Rodney Williams' was the supplier of the Budwieser products each week.

on Spurriers part ...says he hope he wasn't impaired and says not unusual for coaches , including him , to have a few beers after the game after working all week....hmmmm
