Our punts were not good. There was no height and the distance was below average.

Our longest punt was 54 yards and 20 of those yards were after the ball hit the ground and rolled.

We were sitting about half way up in the lower deck and the punts were rarely higher than we were. That means that our coverage team won’t have enough time to get down the field before our opponent gets 5 or 10 yards further up the field before we tackle them.

Our punting HAS to be MUCH better.

Let's just get a first down every three plays and don't worry about it. We also won a national title when our punting wasn't the best so we're okay,.

If anyone is going through the motions during a spring game... it's the punter. We know what we have in Swanson... just wish to see less of him this season.

We can’t sit back and say, “good enough” on any aspect of the game.

If you’re not improving, you’re falling behind. We need competition at all spots to avoid complacency.

Isn't Swanson coming back ??? He was our biggest weapon last year and probably was the reason we won 2-3 by flipping the field.
