Watching our offense, that is what I think of. The 2 back set using misdirection and throwing it rarely. This is an archaic approach and will get you beat a lot! This year's schedule is much tougher than last year. Speed and the deep ball, paired with a solid rushing attack is today's game. The first 2, we simply do not have. Praying for 10-2, but looking at 8-4!!

It was effective sometimes. That inside zone out of that formation Mafah took for 40 yards. Putnam gets to the second level nicely and Shipley flashing to the left side of the line froze the backers enough for Putnma to put a hat on the backer. I do agree if we could threaten to push the ball downfield out of that look, or any look, it would be 10X more effective.
