I might take some heat for this but I believe CJ is another weak link in the staff. I respect his greatly and appreciate all he has done at and for Clemson. His recruiting isn’t up to par and the backs aren’t developed as they should be.
Wes.. well, 90% of us have expressed our opinions.
On a positive note, I believe Tyler Grisham has done much better this year with the receivers.
Also, I believe Cade comes back for another year. It would solidify him as one of the Clemson greats at qb. Natty or not. The kid has grown up right before our eyes. Much respect to him!

If anything happens to Spiller it would be a move to an admin job. He ain’t ever getting “fired”.

And Gideon is a beast. Both came here because of Spiller. I’m not surprised that it took him a year or two to get some good backs to start coming here.

RB pass blocking has actually improved since Spiller arrived, which is surprising because he wasn’t an elite pass blocker.

Barry Sanders was the best running back I've ever seen in my entire life. He wasn't known for his pass blocking. That is all. I love Spiller but he has been a bust at recruiting, development, and coaching.

A WR who has never played RB jumped in and instantly became a better option than our 3rd, 4th, and 5th string back... Who were heavily recruited as RBs from high school.

That's not a good look for development.

Yeah. That says a lot about RB development and coaching.

That said, Dabo would never fire CJ. Reassign, yes.
