Reminds me of the dust up between Rick Barnes when he was Clemson head coach and Dean Smith. Dean was barking at Iker Iturbe and Barnes took exception to it. Dean Smith apologized later.

The two links I posted just show that the two coaches cleared the air.
In the video of Barnes, he also tells the story of how his daughter wrote a letter to Smith when he retired, and she received back a nice letter that said all kinds of glowing things about her father.
So they cleared the air. That’s the rest of the story.
And what’s this “he started it” stuff? Middle school.

Throughout the season, he has gotten into arguments with opposing fans. He must be pretty dramatic and lacks maybe that balance? But who knows what people are saying these days to opposing fans and coaches. I think so. Many people are frustrated with the amount of money going into coaches, pockets and players pockets, they just vent.

He’s a whiner
But I don’t care what you say, this is a very smart strategy.
Looks like he is definitely vulnerable to technicals, but his team is so good that the penalty of a technical won’t matter at all. Like tonight.
It’s smart because even though he knows he’s being incredibly annoying, and overwhelming, he knows that what he is saying is going to stick in those refs’ heads.
And subconsciously, those refs begin to see what he yelled at them.
