BIg Dex and Other DT's

Seeing the earlier Big Dex thread, made me ponder:
If you had to pick one Clemson DL to start a program, would it be:

Dex,Fridge, McGlockton, or CW42?

I did not include Michael Dean in this list because he played outside as much as in.

Buckner, Trevor Pryce, Grady Jarrett were all awesome players but I believe the debate has to be limited to the above 4

I'm not so sure I wouldn't go with Dex on this one.

I'd choose all of them and then teach them to play O-Line.... :)

I'm thinking CW42. He's more of a team leader they will rally around. DL

Fridge hands down. 84 ACC POY. Michael Dean second. 87 ACC POY.

Some great ones there, but I'd have to go with McGlockton.

He was a natural freak, and about as dominant as they come.

Couldn't go wrong with either. However, if considering college performance only, I say maybe Fridge. Dex is maybe 1b. Loved Dex though and still do. Guy is amazing.

You wonder even how much more ridiculously dominant Fridge would have been in today's era of conditioning and nutrition. This was a 320 lb. man who could standing dunk a basketball and probably ran a 4.75 40 playing against 240-250lb O-lineman

He was around 275 as a freshman. He could have played DE,

Big Dex top 3 DT in the league maybe top 2 behind Jones at KC. Proud of the man! He is currently killing it right now!

Lot to choose from; not sure I could answer that singularly.

Peter Woods or the fridge. Their top end speeds match most fast Qb. 4.5 40-yard-dash times for 330+lb lineman is just rare.

I want to say McGlockton due to his size and NFL productivity though I acknowledge DexL and Buckner had better NFL careers.

Nah, I have to go with Dexter Lawrence. He won a National title and is possibly the best DT pro we ever put in the league.
