Softball in the ACC

Currently FSU is #1 but other than that there are no ACC teams in the top 25. Norte Dame is in the others receiving votes category.

It's an SEC and PAC 12 dominated sport.

We can easily be the 2nd best program in the ACC very quickly. I would imagine we will allocate the proper resources to getting a coach and facilities.

Over the last few years. VT, UNC, and a couple of others were ranked as well. I have a daughter that is currently an assistant softball coach at a JUCO in south Georgia that would love to get a assistant or Grad assistant job at Clemson. It was always he dream to play softball at Clemson but they obviously didn't have a program. The entire family is looking forward to attending softball games in Clemson as well. Go Tigers.

I'm so happy about this. I live behind my high school and the softball field is basically in my backyard. Love watching my Hawks play can't wait to see the Lady Tigers!
