So where do we stand at RB

Shipley Pace Rancher
Seem pretty thin at RB to me…. Lord forbid Shipley goes down injured because Shipley is our offense right now. I think where losing Dixon hurts is we can’t afford a injury to a RB I mean outside those 3 who do we have to carry the rock? Dixon could have been a home run change of pace had Elliot knew how to use him. Which isn’t a up the middle runner. More so you got to get Dixon in space. Oh well I wish him well

Jessy seems to be a coot. We are strong at RB. How about the coots. Other than their kicker, are they strong in anything ? We all know the answer !!

I don’t watch coot football so I wouldn’t know what the coots have.

Probably the most talented (but young) group...

...on our team. We're fine. Many were wondering how we'll find enough snaps to get all these young studs meaningful carries in the games. Shipley, Pace, Mafah, etc. Well here we go. Hate that LJD is leaving, but there's plenty of talent to hand the rock to.

If the coaching staff wanted Dixon to stay they would have done literally the opposite of everything they did the last few Weeks. Its obvious they didn't want him on the team and feel good about the RB position so I guess we have to trust their judgment.

It's not that they didn't want him on the team. It's that he caused some kind of issue with the coaching staff, they held him accountable and in the mean time he was also out performed by the younger guys.
So when we ended up in close scoring games we kept the guys in that were having success and he wasn't it so he didn't get carries. He could see the writing on the wall that he isn't a better player so he won't get the larger number of carries and therefore needed to transfer if he wanted more playing time to build NFL draft stock.

I hope we see Mafah at some point. He was a BEAST in HS. As a pure RB I think his ceiling is higher than Shipley or Pace. But those are 3 very good young RBs. The future is very bright at RB!
