Far from it but our batting did not look good against State. Hopefully we can win the game tomorrow. I have been watching Clemson sports for years and I have seen this before. It is like there is some stigma at times when we play N C State.

Once again must be someone who hasn’t been watching the NCST series. If you have been watching the State series & can’t see the glaring issues with this team especially on offense against really good teams like State then I don’t know what to tell you. Also, this team is in the most difficult part of their schedule by far so weaknesses tend to be exposed & that is exactly what is happening in this NCST series. That’s not insanity that’s reality.

Just because we lost our first series on the road to a top 25 team does not mean the sky is falling chicken little. Again we just beat a top 10 Georgia and won a series against a very good Louisville team.

Nobody said all is lost but things are trending down. Once again are you people even watching the games or are you just reviewing the score after the games. Because if you are watching these recent games even the ones they have been winning lately you would see how badly the offense is struggling. That’s just a fact. It takes an almost perfect pitching performance to win because of the lack of offense. This is the toughest stretch of the schedule so the issues are magnified. If you can’t acknowledge the problems then you are just being willfully ignorant.

No, but three straight ACC conference losses is a trend & what no one seems to discuss is this is the start of their hardest part of the schedule. Can they get back to winning, sure. But they are going to have to play much better than they have recently. The road just gets much harder FSU who sits atop the ACC await next in Tallahassee.

So I guess getting beat badly by NCST. Giving up 32 hits & 22 runs in just two games while you managed only 15 hits & 7 runs in those two games is trending upwards for you. And, you call me stupid!

And you probably said we were destined for the final 4 in basketball. Louisville got beat bad by FSU at home yesterday. We haven’t been dominant all year and most of our players have regressed this year. We have issues that I don’t think will be resolved this year. I hope I’m proved wrong. Just like I knew the massive scoring droughts and poor end of season basketball shooting would kick our butts in the end.

Sorry, but it is starting to feel like basketball season all over again. Chasing record number of wins, close to leading conference standings all season, cruising along, climbing the rankings, beating top teams, then getting skulls pounded in multiple times against a more-or-less equal-strength team. Hoping baseball season doesn't end with one-and-done ACC tournament game and then in McNeese State fashion.
