So quitting (opt out) is better than violating a team rule?

So the quitters travel with the team, get the swag, stand on the sidelines (in a jersey no less), while a guy who violates a team rule stays home? Riddle me that.

BTW, how do the star players decide that a bowl game is more risky than a rivalry game?

I wish them no success in the NFL.

If his coaches and teammates had no problem with him being there then why do you care? You don’t know what his situation is. He averaged over 24 touches per game for them this year…doesn’t seem like a quitter to me.

My guess is the players don't like it, but nobody wants to be the first to call it what it is. I expect that will change.

Why do the CFP players not quit? Are those games somehow less risky?
