So I've watched three Norte Dame games, my take

Nov 1, 2022, 4:16 PM

They are a decent team that in no way should be overlooked.

Having said that, there are a couple of weakness we should exploit and other things we need to cover.

1. Long ball - running straight at them might not be the best play. Get our WRs behind them as the safety tends to get there late and the corners lack some speed and height.

2. QB designed runs- yall ain't gonna like this but I think DJ can get some yards there on an over-pursing DL.

3. For God's sake blanket 87. Seems like every decent pass goes to him. Does ND even have another playmaker who can catch?

4. Make them one-dimensional and take away the run. I know this isn't a groundbreaking observation but the interior DL will decide this game. 7 is a better version of Mafa. Take away 87 and make their QB find another open player. Sack city.

I think we get in done in a close game. Even their fans will tell you that their home crowd is not intimidating in the least.

31-21 Good guys.

VAMOS TIGRES! DALE!

As for your last point, they haven't had a top 5 team come into their house in a while (COVID year omitted). The crowd will surely be alive for this game but we can quiet them with how well we play. Definitely agree on #4. We take #87 out of the game and they become extremely one dimensional.

you're giving them too much credit.........

They lost at HOME to Marshall & Stanford!!!!!

they are NOT GOOD............coming off a bye week........we "SHOULD" win easily.

I get your point

But they also played well in several games and more importantly, recently.

But if this season has taught me anything, do not take any win for granted.

Nice work Pacific. Would love to see Clemson's defense dominate the game. The talent is there they just need to put 4 quarters together.

A ten-point margin is a good estimate given this team's tendencies.

Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

Have we recruited WR in the off week? We are a running team.

Not saying we can do it....

Nov 1, 2022, 5:21 PM

but their weakness is the long ball.

56% of our yardage on Offense is through the air.

I have only seen one of their games. The first game against Ocry0 St. Based on the stats I have seen, it is critical that we don’t let 87 beat us. Kind of like when Debo Samuels played for the coots. What I haven’t seen mentioned much is their defense. They ran Stroud ragged for 3 quarters in that game against Ohio St. Daggum right we can’t overlook these guys.
Go Tigers!

They are a big team, but may be a bit sluggish. Hopefully, we will be quicker in all areas.

I think the key is the interior DL

Nov 1, 2022, 6:30 PM

is Bryan in game shape enough? Big question, huh?
