But it turns out when you give him a couple of capable WR and an OL that can actually block he ends up with one of the best seasons in school history. 40 total touchdowns, 5 int. I don't care who you are, that's about as elite as it gets in college football.

Agree with all that but the experience from last year is huge too. He got almost zero playing time as a freshman because every single game with DJ was close. He's still making some bad decisions, but significantly less.

He's a much more confident leader this season than prior, and clearly put in the hours in on strength and conditioning heading into 2024. Seems to me they're all making each other better.
