Doesnt he have a job? Shouldnt he be looking at the players he needs or better yet a plan on how to beat LSU? All this should be done later. He received a nice raise now he needs to earn it!!

Why wouldn't he interview?
Dec 6, 2012, 7:59 PM

Not sure why anyone would refuse to interview/listen simply to see what USF has to say. Doesn't mean he will take it but imo, it makes no sense not to interview.

It's not one or two, but every #### job opening it seems. If these are rumors put them to rest. Clemson will be fine if he stays or goes. Just handle the job in front of you.

and a chance to be your own boss (mainly), you wouldn't at least sit down with them and listen to what they have to say?

I am not sayin never, but you just lost your last game with horrible play calling seems to be he should do the job he has now and is gettin paid for. Some companies that find out you interview with other companies fire you them and there so this isnt like alot of jobs.

I agree. I know folks say he is interviewing for the experience and has no intention of leaving but to me it just looks bad. What ever happened to honoring your contract? We had enough faith to hire him with minimal job experience so I would expect him to be a little more loyal.

Well last time I checked he was still our O coordinator. Why not quit believing all the crap posted everywhere and respond when Chad says he is leaving or staying? Most of this crap has turned out to be false information.

Chad is laughing at the hypocrisy
Dec 6, 2012, 8:47 PM

on the one hand you ask for his loyalty, and on the next, you're ready to fire him when you don't get what YOU want. And trust me, that happens every other week in college football. He will do what's right for him and his family, like any smart person. Get a grip people and deal with it.

I never said fire, but if he is so worried about a job and his family why does it seem he is slacking on his present one??

I think it's a little bit of a double standard that the coaches have. They expect the prospects to hold to their commitment and not shop around, they should hold themselves to that same principal. "Be committed or be on your way".

commits understand the situation

That's why you don't commit if you are concerned about coaching changes, better to wait to see where the dust settles after the season. Besides, I think recruits probably understand today's coaching carousel better than most think. There are no guarantees anymore, not in today's world.
If I'm Morris, why would I wait to see what's still available after signing day?

i am sure this interviewing for other jobs is affecting the decision of some of our recruits as to where they might decide to go. not helping our recruiting!

It should be his main priority right now to get his players ready for the bowl game. That is what he was paid so well for this year.
