SO i just read on the Coot Myspace page

that Josh Belk told our coaches that he would commit if they did not take any more verbals at his position in that class and they agreed. Something tells me this was all planned by Muschamp and the gamecocks to set our depth back at the position so they do not suffer 6 peat next year. Apparently this plan has been in the works for a while because the wealthy alumnis are getting worried that our rivalry is getting out of hand and that the Staff needs to fight back in any possible way the can.
this is really dirty if you ask me and the coots need to be taught a lesson for stupeing this low.

I wouldn’t doubt it. I believe that they would stoop to almost anything to try and get a win against us right now. There is definitely something wrong with the whole situation however I don’t think it will help their cause much at this point.

will bail faster than rats on a sinking ship right after they wrap-up this years impressive 6 - 5 (at best) season knowing that the next few years when Bama, LSU and Auburn come back on the schedule will not be any better. They are in for a LOOOOOOOONG spell of six or fewer win seasons.

Kevin Willis is a straight talking contributor to SportsTalk on Mondays. He has nothing but high praise for Dabo and company.
He also gave specific reasons why the Chickens seem to be regressing as a program--not just their inability to beat KY--including their emphasis on slogans instead of work, their impatience in their play calling, their lack of identity, their inability to tackle, and what I found most interesting, Jake Bentley's regression in fundamentals. He says Jakey was better as a SO in high school than as a JR in college thanks to his coaching.

Belk didn't have the work ethic to compete on one the nations elite teams so he took the easy way out and transferred to a program largely devoid of talent so he could play without having to really do anything other than show-up.
There is a very good reason why Dabo let him walk.
