NO Recruit Signs. They're a violation

Aug 29, 2013, 12:54 PM

Anyone who has a gameday sign with a recruits name is NO Clemson fan and should be removed

communist

lol jk

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No they are not a violation!!

Aug 29, 2013, 1:06 PM

No they are not because it is an open event. Anyone can have a sign to a player. You can do it with a banner or sign at a high school event.

If it were a closed event it would be a violation but it is public so it is fine. That was a CYA from CuCompliance--they never said it was a violation.

Texas and other schools do it all the time on Gameday...

Alright well Clemson has specifically requested....

Aug 29, 2013, 1:09 PM

The punishment for a sign would be death to the sign-maker

Re: So how does TigerNet and other webistes post pictures

Aug 29, 2013, 4:00 PM

Here is the deal--If the photo is taken during a closed/private event and then the picture is posted--that is a violation.

But 74Tiger wouldn't know that...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

lol...

Aug 29, 2013, 4:32 PM

not sure 74Tiger said that....he mentioned a reason and said FOR STARTERS...

What you are talking about is partly true, but 74Tiger never mentioned closed/private event.

TigerNet is a media entity and can post about recruiting, contact the recruit, post pictures, etc.

Establishing a Web Site in and of itself does not categorize an individual as amedia entity. Therefore, individuals who establish Web sites independent of the
institution continue to be subject to all applicable restrictions related to contacting prospects for a recruiting purpose.

Sometimes I speak out of turn and insult the good guys too. I try not to do that but sometimes my hands are in motion before my brain is in gear.

I hope you don't get labeled a troublesome Tiger like me.
