People went out of their way to defend Shipley for doing stuff like throwing his helmet and walking away from coaches when they were trying to talk to him, all in the name of fire and intensity.

gets emotional about the game. Like when Girard went after the ref last season after a horrid call. I think it’s best that everyone stay modest on the average, but sometimes we all get caught up. This can, very well, take a team over the hump for the win.
Gene Hackman in Hoosiers always lives in my head rent free. When he pushed the ref to throw him out to serve his assistant coach for the win was ####### magic.

Who gives a rip about throwing the helmet. It wasn’t in protest or a unsportsmanlike situation. Shipley was caught up with competitive fire and let his emotions get the best of him. There were no harsh words exchange between Ship and CJ. You don’t know what was said or how the interaction went between the two.

Shipley acted like a brat when he couldn’t get into the end zone. He let his emotions get the best of him, but I’m sure Cj handled it in practice.

Considering Ship's (lack of) OL blocking during his time at Clemson and his 4.0 GPA, throwing a helmet and walking away from a position coach during a game or two is pretty tame stuff.
I'm impressed Ship made the Eagles, and his fire and making the Eagles had nothing to do with being white. Give me ETN over Ship all day long, but I don't agree with the correlation of Tiger fans liking Ship more for being white any more than Tiger fans loved the Fridge, Gallman, ETN, and DW4 (in his time at Clemson) for being black.
But your X post sure portrays Clemson as a racist university and is damaging to Clemson. Surprised by your assessment.

It was just interesting seeing people rush to his defense so quickly when he was clearly out of control.
I didn't see anyone defending Jaden Kinard when he was being emotional and standing up to the coaches.

Occured during practice, he's was a bench warmer who was only there as a legacy, 2 nobody gaf about a coddled legacy, bench warmer whining after the fact about something that happened in practice. Loafing IN PRACTICE..whining about practice..a legacy walk-on whining about practice...
