is transferring? This feels like our biggest defection yet, at least to me. Prior portal transfers were explainable. This one feels different.

Hoffler made a business decision. I didn't see him getting many meaningful snaps next year.

I think he would have gotten a lot of 2nd team snaps. That's still a lot of PT. Maybe he was going to be 3rd string?

We need functional depth. I would like to see us pick up another DE. Woods needs to stay inside and develop even more at DT. We don’t need him filling holes on the outside at DE

It is my opinion we will entertain some more guys during the spring portal window once the scholarship picture becomes more clear and the season wraps up. I’m thinking another DE, a LB, a DB, and perhaps a punter.
