So baseball once gets the shaft on TV broadcast again

I see the baseball games gets the single camera treatment again. I know there’s a lot going on but I am sorry baseball should be getting priority over some of these other sports. First, they are a top ten ranked team but, more importantly the baseball program has been around a lot longer than these other programs. That alone should warrant them top priority. Baseball is my second favorite sport behind football at Clemson it is so frustrating see them time & time again get the second hand treatment.

Probably because it’s against Davidson. However, one camera is better than zero. Plus, the single camera much better than the 80’s handicam video at Fleur Field.

I don’t care if they are playing Daniel High. The baseball program should be getting priority over some of these newer sport programs.

You are absolutely right. It's ridiculous and not justified.***

Maybe do some reading and realize how good we have it. Not all ACC/SEC schools carry every event, and baseball gets the 'shaft' once.
A number of dates with three or more events will cause a total of five Clemson dates to air via a one-camera “pass-through” ACCNX production with announcers as opposed to the alternative of those events being unavailable to view. Clemson continues to seek ways to make as many events as possible available.
Clemson’s events are also extensively covered via social media, the official ClemsonTigers app and ClemsonTigers.com.
One-camera broadcasts with announcers:
Day Date Time Sport Opponent Sunday 2/23/25 – Softball 2nd vs 1st Friday 2/28/25 12:30 PM 3:00 PM Softball Lafayette East Carolina Saturday 3/8/25 3:00 PM Baseball Davidson Friday 3/14/25 8:00 PM Gymnastics Penn State Thursday 4/17/25 5:00 PM Lacrosse Pitt

You are missing my point. I know we are lucky to have the number of events televised as we do. My point is baseball being one of the big three sports: football, basketball & baseball should always get priority over other sports. I am sorry if others don’t agree, but I am willing to bet the majority agree with me.

Well, kudos to the staff for all they do provide. However, in this case, even being Davidson shouldn't matter. Softball with one camera (I've watched many on one camera) is a whole lot easier to use and watch. Obviously can't see pitchers angle, but you can see a ball hit... this, I can't tell where the ball is. Still glad it's on.

Surely it’s not just softball and basketball taking the cameras and staff? If lacrosse or gymnastics ever get preferred treatment, it’s a disgrace.

No, we have enough cameras. We don't have enough staff. They're students. Neff addressed this last year.
It's not money. We have the money. Not sure why we can't use other people. Surely they're not that difficult. Oh well.
