Do they even still have a cafeteria on campus with trays? That was our go-to sled back in the day when we had a snow on campus. Great sledding down to the student parking lot near the shoe boxes.

Our hill of choice was from the Clemson House down into Highway 93 across from Sikes.

Back in the day, the walkway from Calhoun Drive between Hardin and Bracket was Olympic quality. It was easy to get water from those building to "resurface" the walkway. The plastic trays were ok, but those metal trays were the best. The challenge was to make it all the way through the Martin Hall breezeway without veering into the Amphitheater...those old wooden seats would leave a mark! Only thing that would have made it better would have been if we had some non-nutritive chemical varnish, semi-permeable, non-osmotic stuff they used to fry our food at Harcombe!

In the late 70’s , the reflection pond in front of the library froze and my roommate rode his bike around the entire length of the pond without falling…. And he wasn’t stoned😂👍!!

Once several of us got on top of Harcombe from A-6 and kept people from entering with snowball barrages. Campus police chased us off.

Big snow plows are all over the place with a few flakes of snow in upstate SC. Yankees do not know how to drive in southern snow. Their snow is dry and ours is wet and slick. You got to watch out for them, if you go out driving in the snow. You can recognize them by how fast they drive in the snow.
