Texas and UGA are both in regardless of outcome.
Even if Boise loses, it's an auto-bid, so the winner is in and it won't impact # of slots available.
So neither of those impact USC at all. Further, if we beat SMU, it's likely that SMU gets the last slot, and if they don't, Bama will.
USC has no path to get in.

Well, I’m in agreement on the SMU piece, but not so much your Boise and UGA read. As mentioned above, auto bids are in, Boise or not. I don’t see coots getting in, especially as both Bama and Miss are ahead of them, have beat them, and none of the three play this weekend.
I could be wrong….. but thinking you are. As you say, we heard it here first though, if you’re guessing right.

The committee said they will not punish conference championship losers unless they weren’t already in, Clemson, UNLV, and Big 12. UGA, Texas, SMU, Penn State, and Oregon are safe. Boise would be the only one to fall out if the lost imo

SMU could be true, but the jury is still out. Clemson will need to out score them. Under 20 points won't beat SMU. Concerned with that offense of the Tigers. Boise St.? Can't agree. They win. Texas over Georgia? Correct! 2nd consecutive playoff absence for Smart.
