Pitt on a tear and having to go play them in the Steel City, USuC giving Bama and LSU fits and playing to win that last one in DEATH VALLEY showing just how much better they are then an ACC team, disrespect in the national polls because we play in the lowly ACC, QB and high profile de-committments, and crazy Clemson fans questioning everything about a program that seems as solid as ever.

What the heck in John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt’s name are you talking about?

Pitt? They have only blown out Kent St. and Youngstown St., but played close games against mediocre ACC teams. If Clemson wins out, they’re in the conference game. Ranked ahead of SMU, who would be left out.

I do not really think it will happen, but the ACC has some odd tie breakers to get to the ACC Championship game.

If you have 3 undefeated teams at the end of ACC play, they look at the combined winning % of the ACC teams that each of the 3 undefeated teams have played.

Based on this there would be the possible scenario where the 8 ACC teams that Miami and SMU played have a higher winning % than the 8 ACC teams that Clemson played which push Clemson out of the ACCCG.

Again, I do not think it will happen. However, Clemson needs to keep winning and it would help if Miami and/or SMU dropped an ACC game along the way.
